Office Fun on a Wednesday

Jakon’s recent alertbox article caused quite a bit of contrafibularity around the office this week (as well as the usual places on the Web).

Before a flame war could get out of hand I had to chime in with my own personal take on the matter. I said, “I love Jakob because I am the type of person who needs a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.” Which I accompanied with the following “real” picture.

Jakob and Me, sorta

“I love you Dr. [Jakob] and I want to have your baby.”

Somebody, and by “somebody” I mean me, needs a Black Adder fix.

  1. That’s a nice Photoshop job. I was confused for a little bit, but then I realized you were the guy in the blue shirt.

  2. Um, do you mean “bucko” as in friend, lad, or player? Those are the only slang translations I can find after less than a minute searching Google, admittedly.

And if so, do you mean in relation to Jakob? We’ve met a couple of times, once at UPA in 2000 and once at CHI in 2002. I don’t think he would remember me given the amount of people who are interested in his attention on a daily basis.

    Hope that answers your question.
