There was a house across the street from my daughter’s school. Not there any more. I think it got bored after sitting in one spot for 110 years.
It sat next to a church that needs more room for parking. So the house was to be demolished. Yep. Historical landmark needs to make way for cars which will last 20 years at most. Less given they still use salt on the roads here.
But someone came along, bought it, and spent a lot of money getting someone to sell them property a few blocks away.
The house needs a lot of work. What price history? Dunno. Our house was built in 1918. Not sure if we will live in it to its 100th.
At any rate, it’s fun to watch a house driving down the street.
