— 25 February 2005 —
There are a couple of blog-related conferences in April that I wish I could attend. And I will if the conference organizers will buy me a plane ticket, set me up in a hotel, and comp me the entrance fee. ;)
Anyway… Thought I would bring these to your attention in case you find yourself in Paris or NYC in April.
April 5 & 6, 2005 — Paris
New Communications Forum is an intensive new conference series specifically designed to bring journalists and marketing and PR professionals together to learn how to use new media tools such as blogs, wikis, RSS feeds and podcasting for media communications, corporate branding, marketing communications, public relations and employee communications initiatives. It will provide you with an in-depth, hands-on exploration of the future of communications. Our instructors are leading bloggers, journalists, marketers, PR experts, and senior executives who have pioneered the use of these new tools and technologies. They will share their in-the-trenches experiences as early adopters of these new communications tools.
April 28, 2005 — New York City
We will gather senior executives from Fortune 500 companies, as well as forward-thinking sales, marketing and public relations professionals to explore the nuts and bolts of a building a corporate blogging strategy and how businesses of all types can leverage this new medium to drive new revenues, increase market share and gain critical brand exposure while influencing public opinion on their products and services.
