Getting Naked

Screw Getting Real.

What happened to the design?

To know more about why styles are disabled on this website visit the

Annual CSS Naked Day
website for more information.

Why am I doing this? Because I want to. Hooray! The design will be back up tomorrow-ish. Too bad it couldn’t coinside with CSS Reboot day. No styles for 36-ish hours, then bam! a fresh design.

My site probably looks better now without styles. But, if you are inetrested, here’s what it will likely look like by May 1.

Refreshing to see an old school layout in a blog. Ever seen the blog at webmasterworld.com / robots.txt ?

I have to admit, I reloaded the page 3 times thinking the CSS wasn’t coming through. Then I thought maybe it was a joke, “oh I get it usability“. My mistake.

You look surprisingly good naked. Your site, your site looks good.

I should set the bgcolor to gray, sorry, #CCC. That’d take us too far back. ;)

I kind of like it. Not enough to keep it. Too infatuated with GUIs, I mean WUIs.

All I can say is this is good timing, especially when I am looking for a new job. Now they can see my true design talent!

“Matthew, there’s such a thing as too much less.”

    “Tell that to Fried!”

Oh, since I got a lot of Technorati hits searching “web 2.0″…

This post is categorized properly. I figured it was easier using a category that already existed, rather than coming up with a new one called “Web 2.0, It’s Irony People.”
