I've seen numerous projects in the workplace fail (quite spectacularly in some cases!) because the project organisers didn't involve all the relevant co-workers in the project early enough - it is such a critical part!   This has sometimes stemmed from simple ignorance of what the project would involve...but that is an error in the project planning phase itself. I'm sort of the opposite to a knowledge hoarder really, I do my best to knowledge share where possible because I'd want our team to be as good as possible and it also justifies the reason for having me on that team to begin with (I hope!)</description>
