About a week and a half ago I had an idea and after a couple of test runs, I am ready to go for real.
This Wednesday at 8pm (20 o’clock for most of the world) Eastern, I’ll be reviewing at least one web site/app/blog live in front of a virtual audience, which you can be part of.
My view of the show:
I’ll also be recording the show and, if technology doesn’t fail me, I’ll be recording everything I see on the screen as well. So if you can’t join me for the live show, you can watch what we covered.
I am going to try to do this once a week. Every Wednesday at the same time. Since it’s live I need it to fit into my schedule, and this is the best fit I could find for now. But since I am recording it, it should fit into everyone’s schedule for the most part.
All shows will be 30-45 minutes total. Ustream has a recording limitation where anything over 45 minutes can’t be converted into multiple formats and just sits in a Flash state. Which for the most part is fine, but I want the flexibility to convert and share.
If no one shows up, I’ll still do the show. As I said previously, this is partly about keeping “fresh” in terms of my mad (read: crazy) reviewing skillz.
And I’ll Need Help
Obviously this will be more fun for everyone if people show up. Even better if people participate. I will say, and this should probably go in the section above, there’s a lot to be looking at. As you can see from the screen shot above. So if I don’t respond to your question or comment right away (or at all) just type it again. I won’t purposefully ignore anyone. Unless you are being a jerk, then everyone can join in ignoring you. :)
I’ll post a reminder on Wednesday here and of course on my Twitter account.
Other than that, we’ll see how it goes. I hope you’ll be able to join me.
